There are many things you could say are really
precious to your life.
The tree beside your house, you see, it
also needs you to care.
There is no future for us, if there are no
plants on the Earth.
Now, we all have to realize this and share
it with the world.
We all need to care for our precious trees.
There is an old tree beside your home.
It’s
been there since before you were born.
It has been watching how you grow and it
will be standing by your side.
We love our family and friends, and we take
care of each other always.
Love and respect of nature is also what we
want to share with you.
Trees clean the air every day and produce
the oxygen.
And their roots grow underground and
make
our land firm so we can live without feeling unrest.
There is an old tree beside your home.
It’s
been there since before you were born.
It has been watching how you grow and it
will be standing by your side.
We will be there beside our tree, no matter
what happens to the earth.
The life of our family will go on, as long
as our tree is there.
We shall never forget this song and we’ll sing
it to the world.
The old tree is standing in your eyes and
it tries to grow into the sky.
Let the tree reach to the rainbow and it
will pass our wish to the world.

生きていく上で、宝物と言えるものはいろいろあるけれど
きみの家の横に植わっているあの木も、実はきみに気にかけてもらいたいものなんだ
もしも地球上に植物がなくなってしまったら、ぼくたちの未来はなくなってしまう
今、このことを世界中の人達にも知ってもらわないと
ぼくたちはこの宝物である木を大切にしないと
きみの家の横にあるあの老木は きみが生まれる前からそこに生えていたんだ
きみが大きくなるのをずっと見守ってきた そしてこれからもそこできみを見守っていくだろう
ぼくたちは家族や友達が大好きで いつも気にかけているけれど
同じように自然への愛や尊敬の気持ちを きみとも分かち合いたいんだ
樹木は空気をきれいにして 酸素を作り出してくれる
そして土の中では根っこを伸ばし 大地をつなぎ、強くしてくれる
だからぼくらは心配することなく生活できるんだ
